New York State Police arrest Nicholville women for drug possession

On August 4, 2026, New York State Police arrested Tabitha M. Martin, age 49, of Nicholville, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.

On August 4, 2026, at approximately 11:05 a.m., troopers observed a 2016 Subaru committing a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation on Austin Ridge Road in the town of Potsdam. Troopers initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as Martin.

During the traffic stop, Martin exhibited suspicious behavior. The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office responded with a K9, which alerted to the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle. A subsequent search resulted in the recovery of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
