New Hyde Park man busted for burglary in Nassau County

The NCPD reports the arrest of a New Hyde Park man for a burglary. The incident was reported on Sunday, December 4 around 11pm.

According to detectives, Third Precinct officers while on routine patrol observed a glass break of the front window of Vincent’s Pizzeria, located at 1004 Willis Avenue. After a thorough investigation Andrew Kearney, 21, of New Hyde Park, was located behind the building. The defendant was placed into police custody without incident.

The defendant, Andrew Kearney is charged with Burglary 3rd Degree, Attempted Burglary 3rd degree and three counts of Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Monday, December 5, 2022, at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead. (From NCPD)
