Nationwide media forced migrants to stop sleeping in the NYC streets

Yesterday, the local part time elected officials favoring migrants to NYC showed up at the Roosevelt Hotel after other elected officials against it after nationwide media picked up the story. For fear of losing votes, all migrants sleeping on the sidewalks were cleared off to inside locations. New locations have been announced, McCarren Park Recreation Center, Sunset Park Recreation Center will have over 100 migrants. Both are in Brooklyn where community residents can be employed with nonprofits to handle the migrant crisis. Central Park is on the table if there are no community protests. As for Queens locations, the Mayor’s Office won’t disclose locations as of yet.
