Hussain was busted for illegal scam with Medicaid using HIV and AIDs patients in the poor neighborhoods to buy drugs and then sell back for a fee. The Attorney General has filed a lawsuit to recover the damages and back pay of the money by going after Hussain's multi properties in Queens primarily in Jamaica.

The AG reported Hussain opens a new pharmacy in a poor neighborhood and pick up drugs from unauthorized wholesalers and report to Medicaid for reimbursements. From there, he would sell the pharmacy or change the name to another ownership.

The investigation was uncovered after a kickback was reported when a $2,000 bottle drug was purchased for $25 tto $1000 from an HIV patient. Then the bottle would be sold for a profit. Medicaid reported of irregularities between January 1, 2015 to October 31, 2018.

Hussain is a well known prominent businessman in the Bengali community. AG also reported more accomplices in the lawsuit. After his arrest on March 1, Hussain remains in jail with $2 million dollars bail.
