NYPD to have a new division for low level crimes

The NYPD Commissioner announced a new division to focus on level level crimes including subways citywide. The list are unlicensed vendors, public bathroom modes outside the streets, aggressive panhandling and unattended vehicles or abandoned vehicles longer than certain weeks.

For the subways, alcohol, smoking and sleeping inside the cars are also included.

A new chief will be appointed and cops from local precincts will be moved around for the tasks in the coming weeks.

All incidents will be updated to the newly created data name called Q-Stat which will be available for the public.
