NYPD officer shot in Brooklyn

149 Ridgewood Avenue from Brooklyn route to Jamaica Hospital in Jamaica is closed for EMS transport. Reporting the suspect is an EDP barricading himself inside the building. The male officer is shot four times in the chest while wearing vest and one in the arm. Reporting the EDP has a baby holding out from the window threatening to shoot again and has woman held hostage in the apartment.
