NYC to install solar powered stop signs

The NYC Dept of Transportation installed the first solar powered stop sign. The solar power uses reserved energy collected from the sun and then blink at night so it's visible for all drivers. The purpose is to minimize lawsuits with the city where the stop signs are blocked by trees and other signs. Add another blinking or flashing sign to NYC at night. This came after the success of pilot program in certain locations and more are on the way.
