NYC public libraries to stop late fees

All NYC public libraries will stop charging late fees and existing fines will be waived for overdue books. This goes for other materials in the libraries as well. It was suspended in March 2020 due to the pandemic. This is for the New York Public Library that covers Staten Island, the Bronx and Manhattan, Brooklyn Public Library and Queens Public Library. Lost books need to be paid the full amount.
