NYC mayor will announce end of September on the fate of indoor dining

Since March, all eateries closed in NYC due to the pandemic and only outdoor is open for business. Today, during the press brief, NYC mayor stated a decision on indoor dining will be announced end of September. A timeline will be announced if the green light is set forth to open after working with the state. The governor enforced the guideline to issue violations to eateries for not practicing social distancing and the state liquor authority for not ordering food while drinking alcohol. This will be separate from bars and nightclubs. According to the governor's office, the discussion came after more than 300 eateries have filed a class action lawsuit in the sum of $2 billion for not activating indoor dining.
