NYC cops hunt for killer who slashed mom on 4th of July

NYPD officers were hunting for a woman dressed in red, white and blue who allegedly stabbed her mother to death in Queens on Saturday, cops said.

The 30-year-old suspect allegedly cut her 59-year-old mom, identified as Ausha Ramlakhan, in the neck and shoulder with a sharp object around 3:30 p.m. in South Ozone Park, Queens, according to police.

Another family member discovered the bloodied victim at the home on 128th Street near Liberty Avenue and called 911, police said.

Responding emergency workers pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The suspect fled on foot and was last seen wearing blue yoga pants, a red tank top and white sneakers, police said.
