Murder and rape is down by one in NYC from the Crime Stat

For the week of October 24 to October 30, NYPD Crime Stat was released. One less murder and rape compared to last year according to the Mayor’s Office.

Everything else from robbery to felony assaults are up.

For the month of October, there were 29 murders compared to 43 last year. 139 rapes compared to 120 last year. 1478 Robberies compared to 1454 last year. Felony assault is 2088 compared to 2227 last year. Burglary is 1388 compared to 1274 last year. Grand Larceny is 4564 compared to 4163 last year. Grand Larceny Auto is 1244 compared to 1043 last year. For transit there were 210 crime victims compared to 164 last year. Housing reported 449 crime related incidents compared to 501. 85 shooting incidents compared to 128 last year.
