Multiple vehicles vandalized and wheels stolen in Glen Oaks

With security patrolling Glen Oaks, several residents woke to their vehicles vandalized and two has all four wheels stolen. This is on 74th Avenue near Little Neck Parkway and 254 Street. According to one resident who prefers to remain anonymous stated several people not from Glen Oaks went to the Queens farm while parked on the block on Saturday were walking around the path multiple times looking at vehicles. One resident stated security is being told to oversee maintenance from not doing their jobs and not patrolling. The management stated there are only 2 security patrols doing their jobs. As for 105th Precinct, they advised the following, use lug nut locks, don?t keep lug nut lock key in glove box, keep your car locked, park in well-lit areas (if possible) and turn steering wheel to a 45-degree angle despite drivers doing so. As for local council member for Glen Oaks, Barry Grodenchick who is staying home during the pandemic and distribute masks here and there supported to defund NYPD.
Police stated they are looking into the incidents.
