Multiple vehicle accident with serious injuries in Roosevelt

Homicide Squad Detectives are investigating a serious auto accident involving a man riding a dirt bike that occurred on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 8:53 p.m. in Roosevelt. According to Detectives, while heading northbound on Babylon Turnpike operating a dirt bike, a 29 year old male was involved in a collision with another motorist who was heading southbound on Babylon Turnpike. As a result, the rider of the dirt bike suffered multiple trauma injuries and is in critical condition at a local area hospital. The investigation is ongoing and the name of the victim is being withheld at this time.
