Multiple injuries to correction officers at the court jail

Police are at 120-55 Queens Blvd in Kew Gardens reporting assault against correction officers by inmates who were transported from Rikers for hearing. It happened around 9am when one inmate started the assault with another one until officers intervened. More than five officers are injured. Heavy police, EMS and ESU personnel on the scene. Ongoing investigation. Update - 4 officers and 1 perp transported to local hospitals.
