Multiple hit and run incidents in Nassau County under investigation

On Wednesday, October 12 around 1pm, the NCPD reported a hit and run in Rockville Centre. This is on Sunrise Highway and N Village Avenue. The female victim is in serious condition at the local hospital. Police are searching for the suspect who took off.

Around 10pm last night, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Franklin Square. This is on Franklin Avenue and 2nd Avenue. Detectives are working on the case.

On Tuesday, October 11 around 3:30pm, an 8 year old male was riding his bike on the sidewalk when he was struck by a vehicle. This is on Maple Avenue in Greenvale. The child suffered minor injuries and was released from the hospital. The driver was arrested on October 12 after locating the vehicle.
