Multiple carjacking reported by the expressways in Queens

Police reported multiple carjacking incidents from Queens to Nassau border for this week.

Over the weekend, there were multiple carjacking incidents in Queens within the vicinity of Long Island Expressway and Grand Central Parkway.

On September 26 late night a driver was carjacked in the vicinity of Grand Central Parkway and 188 Street.

On September 27, a driver called police of attempted carjacking on the service road of Grand Central Parkway and 267th Street near Little Neck Parkway.

Also on the Nassau County side, a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on the service road of LIE in North Hills yesterday around 9am and died at the scene. The preliminary investigation reported the bicyclist was struck by a delivery vehicle. From several witnesses, there was an attempted carjacking. Further details are not available due to ongoing investigation.
