Motorcyclist dead in Howard Beach

On Monday morning around 1:30am, police were called to the Joseph P. Addabo Memorial Bridge to Broad Channel reporting a motorcyclist down. This is in Howard Beach. The motorcyclist died at the scene. Police stated the motorcyclist was speeding and made an illegal turn colliding with another vehicle, a BMW when the incident occurred.

The driver of the BMW has not been charged. The investigation is ongoing.
