Motorcycle chase by cops on VMH

Police reported a reckless motorcyclist on Veterans Memorial Parkway in Smithtown. Suffolk County police chase ensured until the bike was crashed.Then the bicyclist took off on foot. Reported multiple vehicles were hit during the chase. Veterans Memorial Highway is closed at Brookside Drive. Ongoing investigation.
