Morning traffic turned scary on LIE

Police reported around 7am, multiple shots fired on Long Island Expressway eastbound after Lakeville Road in Nassau County. Several drivers exited the highway after the panic. One witness stated it was a passenger firing in the air on the highway. Ongoing investigation.
