More money needed for NY

NYS, NYC and Long Island are seeking more funds from the federal government to make up the deficit from the coronavirus.
Total population of NYS - 19.5 million
Long Island - 2.7 million
NYC - 8.8 million not including 562,000 undocumented.
The second largest city is Buffalo with approximately 260,000 people.
This is Fiscal Year 2021 enacted budget fact sheet from Cuomo's office -
All funds spending is estimated to total approximately $177 billion and state operating spending is authorized up to $105.8 billion, however in the absence of additional federal assistance or a faster than anticipated economic recovery, spending will initially total $95.8 billion.
This is fiscal year 2021 preliminary budget for NYC from the mayor's office.
The FY21 Preliminary Budget is $95.3 billion. This budget: demonstrates caution in the face of a $6 billion State budget gap. Another $7.2 deficit due to COVID-19.
The FY 2020 budget is $3.56 billion including all funds for Nassau County.
The FY 2020 budget is $3.2 billion including all funds for Suffolk County.
