More love coming from the governor

The Governor announced another six more prisons in the state will be closed. This is under the program, Less Is More Act to reduce prison populations to shelters and more programs with funding. The next set of funding is expected to cost taxpayers $20 billion for various non-profit firms.

So far, almost 25 prisons have been closed and Rikers Island is on the list.

Beside adding more injection centers, temporary housing is the next planned project where one can stay for a night with a meal and leave the next day to be free. The automated machine that will provide ready made meals free is on track and the pilot program is launching this summer.
