More gambling bills to come for you all in NYC

Queens has two casinos coming for all to gamble away money. Yay!

Now comes online casinos if the bill passes.

A Queens Senate is re-introducing a bill, SB 2614 to the floor as part of iGaming to generate over $1 billion for NY.

This is due to fiscal bleed by the NY state government which needs more money.

However, the governor is not showing support since it's best to go with one by one so people are not broke from gambling.

New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania have online casinos. For the year 2025, NJ generated $2.91 billion, PA at $3 billion and CT is on track to $500 million.

The proposed is the following - $2 million license fee and a flat tax at 30.5% with regulations in place similar to the cannabis market in the state. Due to election time for the governor, the bill has some delays but is likely to pass if re-elected.

NY is going to be so exciting.
