Mineola man busted for animal cruelty of kittens

The third Squad Detectives report the arrest of a Mineola man for Aggravated Animal Cruelty that occurred on numerous occasions in Mineola.

According to Third Squad Detectives, several kittens and cats were found outside the trash chute of The Porter Regency building located at 100 Lincoln Avenue. The animals had suffered blunt force trauma and their bodies were bound with duct tape before being placed in cardboard boxes and bed sheets. They were then discarded into the building?s trash chute and were discovered by a building employee as well as a resident.

A thorough investigation was conducted with the assistance of the District Attorney?s Office and lead to the identification, location and arrest of Justin J. Visconti, 37, of 100 Lincoln Avenue, Apartment 22A.

Defendant Visconti is charged with four (4) counts of NYS Agriculture & Markets Law ? Aggravated Cruelty to Animals. He will be arraigned on Thursday, November 27, 2019 at First District Court, Hempstead. (From NCPD)
