Memories have faded in downtown Flushing

The lot, 42-98 Saull Street in downtown Flushing next to the Botanical Garden crossing Cherry Avenue will be changed to make way for a six story apartment building.

The current lot sold last year for $1,503,722 is already set in place for R6 zoning. It will have 10 apartments from the current 2.

This is the first one to make change on the same block and the vicinity of the park.

Long time owners are lining up to sell their small buildings to make way for higher story based apartments in the same vicinity due to demand. Most of the private home structures are fading away in downtown Flushing for high rise buildings.
