Meeting tonight on neighborhood gather in Oakland Gardens

A group of local residents are gathering tonight at 6:30pm on Springfield Blvd and 76th Avenue next to the park in Oakland Gardens. Their mission is to save neighborhoods and communities.

Earlier today, local residents of Queens Village gathered by Creedmoor around 10am after garbage was all over the residential property. A call to the city received numerous calls from 311 of cleanup and in the process of operating starting this week.

More groups are now gathering in their neighborhood to meet.

As for protest, there was one in Staten Island today and Curtis Sliwa was arrested.
