Meatless Monday to start next year for all NYC public schools

After NYC public hospitals announced Meatless Mondays, the next is for public schools which will start next year.

More than 1.1 million children will be provided with healthy, all-vegetarian breakfast and lunch menus every Monday.

The pilot program was launched in Spring 2018 with 15 schools in Brooklyn.
