Mayoral power is heading to the bottom of the pit

Today, the NYC Council Speaker confirmed the majority votes in the chamber can override the Mayor's vote for any bills.

This came after illegal street vendors demanded to stop the NYPD from confiscating items from selling on the streets. Many local retailers say the items are stolen but the local elected officials are ignoring their pleas forcing many stores to lock up merchandise.

It is a right for anyone to sell anything on the streets of NYC according to the far left without license and regulations.

The Council Speaker who is from Jamaica, Queens is now on a power hungry trip saying the people deserve to do what they want.

On September 10, the bills will be presented all the Mayor voted against to override.

One of the interest bills is to allow grocery delivery workers to be paid $21 same as the restaurants do.

However, the Mayor has been passing around notes to all New Yorkers that the city is in excellent condition and the City Council is not always in favor of the locals.

September 10 is when we will know who has more power, the Mayor or City Council majority.
