Mayoral candidate went into the Brooklyn water

Mayoral candidate and Guardian Angel Curtis Sliwa defies Mayor de Blasio and takes a swim at Coney Island just now. No members of NYPD is near him but park officials told him to get out of the water and he refused. Also, NYC Council recommends the mayor to open the beaches but afraid to introduce a bill vetoing due to governor's control.
New York City is allowing you to hang out on the beaches, but not swim. California is allowing you to swim, but not hang out on the beaches. Both claim science is guiding their policies.
