Mayor de Blasio insist house of worship was always open but no to social gathering in NYC

After President Trump announced house of worship as essential on May 22, Mayor de Blasio stated that house of worship was never closed and always open helping the communities through crisis. The same time, Governor Cuomo signed an executive order on Friday late evening of up to 10 people allowed to gather in pubic after American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) filed lawsuits. Any non-essential gathering of up to 10 people are allowed statewide with precaution measures. This will continue until June 21. This applies to NYC even if phase I is not cleared. However, Mayor de Blasio refuted the executive order and insist it does not apply in NYC due to local government rule. NYPD and Social Distancing Ambassadors plus the "snitch" line to report violators in all five boroughs are active and operative as usual.
Coronavirus Response Coordinator for the White House Coronavirus Task Force Dr. Birx quoted, ?You can go out. You can be outside. You can play golf. You can play tennis with marked balls. You can go to the beaches if you stay six feet apart"
