Marcus Avenue and New Hyde Park Road in New Hyde Park

Around 1:30am, a 74 year old man dead after struck by vehicle while bike riding. Police reported the man was trying to cross to Marcus Avenue going on New Hyde Park Road. The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with police. The victim was leaving from work at ShopRite.
