March 5 is the last day for Rite Aid in New Hyde Park

The Rite Aid inside New Hyde Park Shopping Center will close on March 5th due to two stores nearby.

Walgreens took over Rite Aid and the next one is on Langdale Street near Hillside Avenue also in New Hyde Park.

Management stated it will eliminate the rent in one place when closed.

Most of the inventory has been moved to Walgreens and the pharmacy has been closed. The workers will have jobs in other Rite Aid locations.
