Man wanted for soliciting sex from a minor in Suffolk County

Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public help to locate a Manorville man who approached a 15-year-old girl on the street and solicited sex from her before fleeing the scene. Andrew Quattrone approached a 15-year-old girl in a parking lot behind 24 East Main Street in Babylon on May 13 at approximately 5:15 p.m. Quattrone handed the girl a cell phone with a pre-typed sexually explicit message for her to read and requested she perform a sex act. When a friend of the victim walked over, Quattrone fled the parking lot in a gray 2006 Acura with New York license plate KKT-1304. A two-count warrant was issued for Quattrone, 38, of 10 Claire Court, by Suffolk County First District Court on May 24 for Criminal Solicitation 3rd Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The investigation is continuing. Anyone who believes they may be a victim of Quattrone, or has information regarding his location, is asked to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential. (Info from Suffolk County police)
