Man stabbed to death across 107th Precinct

Police were called to an apartment in Pomonok public housing reporting a homicide.

It happened on October 30 around 6:15pm at 70-38 Parsons Blvd in Flushing.

Responded to multiple calls of unconscious male inside the apartment by the victim?s grandmother after not answering phone for a week.

The grandmother had to get a locksmith to open the door.

Further investigation confirmed the male identified as Matthew Sandoz, 28 died from multiple stabbings.

EMS pronounced the victim dead on the scene.

The city's medical examiner has transported the body for autopsy.

So far no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
