Man slashed in Laurelton

Police are reporting a male was slashed in the head at the intersection of Merrick Blvd and 228 Street in Laurelton. Reported assault occurred and the male was slashed over head. Several witness are on the scene stating the man is bleeding. EMS is enroute. The suspect took off. Ongoing investigation.
