Man shot during robbery in Queens Village

Police were called to the corner of 220th Street and 102nd Avenue in Queens Village around 2:30am reporting a man was robbed and shot in the face. The 46 year old victim was sitting inside his vehicle when two men approached and robbed car key and wallet. Then the victim was shot in the face. Two suspects took off on foot. The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and now stable. So far no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. The victim has been identified as Richard Eng.
