Man killed on the LIE while changing tire

Police reported a man while changing tire on his vehicle was hit by an oncoming vehicle, Tesla and died on the Long Island Expressway westbound by College Point Blvd Exit. It happened around 1am. The driver remained on the scene and continued to cooperate with the police investigation. So far no criminality is involved.
