Man killed after being struck by train In Queens NYPD

A man was struck and killed by a subway train in Queens Friday morning.

Police found the man on the tracks at the Junction Boulevard train station around 7:45 a.m.

EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene, police said.

The incident caused significant morning rush hour delays in both directions on the No. 7 line.

The man's identity has not been released pending family notification. Any other information on the victim has not been disclosed.

It is not known at this time what led up to the incident.
