Man finds human remains while gardening in NYC backyard Sources

A man found cremated remains and human bone fragments while he was gardening in his Queens home, sources told PIX11 News.

The man found the remains in Whitestone around 8:25 p.m. Thursday, according to the NYPD. When police arrived, they found fake teeth and ashes, according to the NYPD.

The Medical Examiner and a forensic anthropologist confirmed the man had found cremated remains, police said.

Officials are still investigating.
