Male shot while riding scooter on Northern Blvd

Police reported a man riding a delivery scooter was shot on Northern Blvd and 101 Street in Corona. It happened around 12:30pm. The victim was heading from 33rd Avenue when the suspect followed and shot. The victim has been taken to Elmhurst Hospital. Police are searching for a black Volkswagon SUV. Heavy delays on Northern Blvd in both directions. Ongoing investigation.
Update - The victim died of gunshot wounds. Homicide investigation underway.
