Male shot by Jamaica Avenue shopping center

Police closed off 165th Street in Jamaica reporting a male shot in the chest. EMS is working to transport the male to a local hospital who is unconscious. The suspect took off toward southbound. This is on Jamaica Avenue shopping center. Several witnesses reported the suspect got out of the vehicle and then approached the male who was shot by firing bullets. Then took off in a Nissan Maxima by another driver suspect.

Shopper are panicking in the area running for cover.

Ongoing investigation.

Update - The male, 40 year old died at the hospital.
