Major roads all reported vehicle accidents

Let's start with 9am on the Northern State Parkway eastbound by Exit 27 where a vehicle lost control and flipped upside down with entrapment. The NCPD worked to clear the area by 11am for continued traffic. As usual Grand Central Parkway eastbound reported an overturned vehicle by Exit 19. For this year alone, the same exit vicinity reported 14 vehicles crash including overturned. Drivers have no idea about the vicinity and why accidents frequently happen.

Back to Queens, Jamaica Avenue was closed in Queens Village after a vehicle accident involving a fire truck. This is by 218 Street. A witness says another vehicle took off from the accident and was apprehended by Hempstead Avenue. At the same time, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Whitestone. EMS transported the victim to a local hospital in unresponsive condition. Highway CIS closed Utopia Parkway by 20th Avenue for investigation.

So far the evening rush hour reported minor accidents on major roadway with delays where people still don't know to move to the shoulder if no injuries from blocking traffic. It takes years of patience to know basic driving rules, especially in NYC.
