Major milestone for the Mayor beating Queens developer

Adams did it. Whooooo-hoooooooo!

The NYC Mayor's office stated nearly 29,000, again close to 29,000 affordable housing which took the last five years is a major milestone for the current one and his name is Eric Adams. YAY.

However, a developer from Queens now the President of USA, Donald Trump holds the record to 27,000 in NYC, a total accomplished by the Trump Organization until that number was taken over by Adams.

Somebody was jealous!

Now Adams can leave the office with heads up.

The real estate developers are in full force to make housing all over NYC with towers and anything goes as part of the affordable programs.

Is it really about affordability?

What nobody knows is this fact - with a fair market job, NYC housing has not been affordable since the early 1970's. This is not a new problem. It's an existing problem that just keeps getting worse. It’s just a way to keep people vibed to follow.

Under the incoming Mayor, the affordable housing priority is for suburban graduates with trust funds in certain areas especially Manhattan and Brooklyn where the current NYCHA will be phased out to private companies to manage.

The next aim is to make homes over a cool $1 million and then to $1.5 million where the average monthly mortgage will be around $8,000 a month. Then survey for affordable housing plans like Jamaica and Long Island City for the government to grab under the developers.

NYC is not affordable and will never be affordable again.
