Maintenance hole explosion in Flushing

Police closed off the intersection of Kissena Blvd and Cherry Avenue reporting an explosion. This was a result of manhole explosion. Heavy ESU on the scene.

EMS is checking for injuries.

Kissena Blvd is closed and traffic is being diverted.

Avoid the area.
