The NY Governor bragged one time congestion pricing will bring an easy $1 billion, that's $1,000 million from people using vehicles to certain zoned areas in Manhattan for MTA, the pet project of NY.

This is the latest released by the Comptroller's Office,

For January when it started on the 5th to 31st in just 25 days, it was $46.6 million, For February of all 28 days, it was $51.9 million due to St. Valentine's Day and March of 31 days is $45.1 million.

With more bus lanes, car free zones, drivers are using less routes around the congestion pricing, less honking and the best one the NY Governor dreamed of, less cars in NYC not meeting the targeted goal of $1 billion per year.

The forecast is not even half a billion, that is $500 million if more zones are added. As of now, it's at $750 million. WOWEEEEEE…

Meanwhile, the Trump Admin has filed a lawsuit to stop the congestion pricing which is still ongoing in court.

So who is benefitting the most, you know it, ride share apps from Uber to Lyft. Regular drivers pay $9 while cabs pay only 75 cents charging $1.50 for riders. This is where rideshare app companies paid a flock of sheep to protest to pass congestion pricing and got more votes to keep it under one party rule in NYC.

Excellent.

As for fare evasion, the MTA is adding a new gates that are modern at certain locations coming this fall including Jackson Heights, the number one location.
