Long time neighbors dispute turned into anything goes in Whitestone

The NYPD reported this morning around 7am, two neighbors turned their verbal dispute into a bullet and knife. This was in the vicinity of 166 Street and 16th Avenue in Whitestone.

Local neighbors say both residents have been feuding for a while but this morning it went out of control. One of the neighbor suspects, male, pulled out a knife and the other was stabbed. Then the same neighbor pulled out a knife and the other was shot in the head. The suspect took off on foot with the weapons.

Shortly, EMS arrived on the scene and transported the bullet and knife victim to a local hospital.

Police are on the search for the suspect, male, white who is now on the hunt.

Locals say the co-op board ignored pleas from the victim who was harassed by the suspect neighbor constantly.

The investigation continues.
