Local professor from Long Island heading to Jeopardy

Lisa Dresner armed with a PhD, a professor from Hofstra University will be a new contestant on Jeopardy. Dresner teaches writing studies and is head of the university’s LGBTQ Studies Program. The show will air on December 6. The top prize is $100,000.
