The Town of Hempstead Supervisor Don Clavin held a press brief today on sharks by Long Island beaches. Clavin stated there was the 20th shark sighting in Nassau County beaches. The latest one seen by shark patrol is a 6 feet fish off Lido West Beach in the morning forcing the beach to close. Then re-opened by monitoring, oh wait, assessing the area as a precaution until the beach is closed to the public. Clavin's only job for the summer is shark sight press briefs just like last year. The media is busy looking for sharks tagging Don.
