LIRR to Long Island airport connection for travelers

More public transportation for NY.

The NY Governor announced the commitment of $150 million to connect the LIRR to the Long Island airport, MacArthur.

This is proposed at the North Terminal from the Ronkonkoma Station.

After the success of the connection at the UBS arena in Elmont, the Governor's Office is also reviewing the connection possibility in Uniondale where the coliseum is.

For now, the LIRR goes to Hempstead station, walking one block to the bus terminal for N70, N71 or N71 or to Westbury station where a taxi is waiting for the coliseum. There is no bus service from the Westbury station to the coliseum.
