Keeseville male arrested stemming from a domestic dispute

On April 18, 2025, State Police arrested Mark L. Gaginer, a 33-year-old resident of Keeseville, NY, on multiple charges, including criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, criminal obstruction of breath or blood circulation, menacing in the second degree, and resisting arrest.

On April 18, 2025, at approximately 7:46 p.m., Troopers responded to Grove Street in the town of Ausable for a domestic dispute. During the investigation, it was revealed that Gaginer and the victim were engaged in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical confrontation. Gaginer reportedly placed his hands around the victim's neck and applied pressure. The victim managed to escape, but later, Gaginer threatened the victim by displaying a metal pipe and making menacing gestures.
