Just go away Bayside hello Red Hook

The NYC Dept of Transportation announced $218 million taxpayer funds for Red Hook in Brooklyn to protect the area from coastal flooding. At the same time, more funds to be announced to prevent damages from floods toward properties including homes and local businesses.

Brooklyn residents are so excited about the project. After all, this is a strong voter base for the one party domination in NYC which must be protected at all costs. This will run the tab to easy $1 billion taxpayer funds in the coming years taking to complete the projects.

As for Bayside, Queens, please wait for a long time but know there will be signs coming soon showing, "Flood Zone Area" to alert all to stay awake while walking or driving when rain starts. That will remind all to run or stay home.

The NYC Dept of Transportation will not respond to why not to Bayside but take it with the NY Governor. We all know funding from the federal government is not going to happen since someone from Queens is sitting in the White House not a fan of Democrats.
